Chad Graham Law is a solicitor's practice serving incorporated business owners and their families across South Edmonton, Beaumont, Leduc, and Nisku. The work divides into two halves that most firms treat as unrelated — building and protecting the company, and building and protecting what the company is ultimately for. Here they're handled as one plan.

Chad's route to a legal practice was not the usual one.
Before law school, he spent ten years as an Evangelical Free Church minister and a regional catalyst for church planting and revitalization. Ten years of sitting with families in the weeks after a death. Ten years of conversations about money, inheritance, obligation, and the things families don't say out loud until someone makes it safe to say them.
(And yes, he's been asked what it's like to transfer from the firm upstairs to the one down below.)
That decade turned out to be unusually good preparation. Succession planning is presented as a tax problem and solved as a tax problem, but it fails as a relationship problem; the child who was assumed into the business and never asked, the partner who was never bought out, the second marriage nobody planned around. Those conversations are the work. The documents follow.

Chad graduated from the University of Alberta School of Law with his JD in 2019, receiving the Gary J. Bigg Award for Advocacy in Law.
He built his solicitor's practice under the mentorship of one of Alberta's most respected business lawyers, developing the foundation the practice runs on today.

Chad is an in-demand speaker and consultant on leadership, business, not-for-profit governance, financial planning, and strategic fundraising, including recent keynote engagements for the RCMP and the Christian Medical & Dental Association.
